    Description

The Limited Edition ‘Bremont Waterman’. Bremont has worked closely with the world renowned free-diver, adventurer, big-wave surfer and ocean environmentalist, Mark Healey, in testing the new Supermarine 500 sapphire crystal case back technology. Limited to 300 pieces, the beautifully engineered new Bremont Waterman incorporates a GMT hand and features deep-blue applied indexes on the dial. The Bremont Waterman uses the core S500 watch architecture as chosen by multiple military units and explorers all over the world. The open sapphire backed 500m water resistant case, helium release valve, anti-shock vibration mount and scratch resistant sapphire uni-directional bezel make it a watch that can be tested to extremes.

Mark Healey, world renowned free-diver, adventurer, big-wave surfer and ocean environmentalist.

Mark Healey is a professional waterman, big-wave surfer, award-winning spear-fisherman, free-diver, photographer, filmmaker, and part-time Hollywood stuntman. Healey half-jokes, my biggest accomplishment so far is probably just staying alive.

    REINVIGORATING THE BRITISH WATCH INDUSTRY

It is not completely unexpected to find that the world sets its time by Greenwich and not by Geneva. Whilst Geneva and Switzerland may be producing the vast majority of luxury wristwatches today, this certainly wasn’t always the case. In 1800 half of the world's watches, around 200,000 pieces a year, were produced on British shores by British watchmakers, which is an incredible statistic. Another wonderful statistic is that probably over 60-70% of the innovation in a modern day mechanical watch has come from Britain, including every major escapement design. Bremont's mission has always been to play a part in bringing back watchmaking to British shores.
