Bremont is delighted to be the official watch Partner to both the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford, in a collaboration with Oxbridge watches.
Cambridge University was founded in 1209, and Oxford even earlier in 1096 (making it the oldest university in the English-speaking world). These two ancient universities share many common features and are often referred to jointly as ‘Oxbridge’. Together, Bremont and Oxbridge Watches have the shared values of durability, precision and technical ability. Through the new partnership, Bremont and Oxbridge Watches have created a series of limited production watches available to “Oxbridge” graduates and alumni. It is a real honour for Bremont to be the chosen watch partner for these two magnificent British educational institutions.
Cambridge holds a place close to Bremont’s founders (Nick and Giles) hearts since they were both born and went to school there, and their father Dr Euan English, completed both his under-graduate and doctorate studies in Aeronautical Engineering at Downing College, Cambridge University.
The Oxbridge Watches team was formed, from watch enthusiasts that are alumni of both the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, with both universities blessing, to create uniquely designed timepieces with the help of Bremont.
Oxbridge Watches was born with the vision of not just providing high-end university mementoes, but limited edition unique timepieces, that could be cherished for a lifetime and passed on as a legacy from generation to generation.
