On March 17th, Bremont introduced three new exceptional chronometers into its collection; the Bremont Project Possible Limited Edition, the ALT1-C Griffon and the ALT1-P2 Jet. Watch the film below to hear from Co-Founder Nick English about what inspired the design of each of these new models and scroll down to view each timepiece.
The ALT1-C Griffon remains true to each of the technical principles behind any revered automatic timepiece. Integrating an impeccably modified, chronometer-rated Valjoux 7750-SO BI AC movement, the ALT1-C Griffon brings together art of watch making with the very best of technical innovation, precision and durability.
This model in particular pays tribute to the Spitfire that brand Co-Founders Nick and Giles English’s father operated and is now owned by Rolls-Royce.
Based off the original ALT1P pilot’s watch, the definitive aviation chronograph, the hardened DLC case and black dial of the ALT1-P2 JET combined with Bremont’s iconic ’51 lume’ offers total clarity and legibility to the wearer. Passionate about celebrating British engineering and innovation as part of the testing cycle
Bremont has teamed up with veritable aviation pioneers Gravity Industries to test this new watch.
The Bremont Project Possible Limited Edition marks the ultimate mountaineering achievements by Bremont Ambassador Nirmal ‘Nims’ Purja MBE, on which he tested Bremont’s watches in some of the harshest environments on Earth. Limited to only 300 pieces, the new watch features GMT functionality and is based on Bremont’s celebrated Supermarine S500.
Turning the watch over reveals an open case back through which the rotor can be seen which details the heights of each of the 14 mountains, and in the order that Nims summitted them.
For the first time in Bremont’s history, the Project Possible introduces the use of a Bronze uni-directional rotating bezel, made using the finest Bronze alloys, Cusn8, which is superior based on strength and corrosion properties.
