Named after Bremont's first flagship Boutique in Mayfair, the Audley is the epitome of sophistication. A classic dress watch with contemporary design cues, it features a British made 40mm polished stainless steel Trip-Tick® case and Bremont manufactured ENG365 movement with 65 hour power reserve. The simplicity of its design making it one of the most elegant watches within the Bremont collection.

    Description

Forming an important part of Bremont’s Mayfair Collection, the Audley is a supremely stylish dress watch that can be dressed up or down. The effect of the silver sunray dial of the Audley almost glimmers and is further punctuated by a blued seconds hand and matching power reserve hand.

An embossed chocolate brown leather strap with polished steel pin buckle complement the overall aesthetic suited to more formal occasions.

As with each of the H1 Generation, the Audley has been tested to Bremont’s exacting H1 Timing Standard.

    the h1 timing standard

The ENG300 series has been designed and built to Bremont’s unique specifications. To bring this proprietary movement series to fruition, a new manufacturing line for machining base components and T0 assembly was realised at The Wing which required significant investment into new machinery, staff, and training. The ENG300 signals the first time in 50 years that mechanical movements have been built at scale on British shores.

    REINVIGORATING THE BRITISH WATCH INDUSTRY

It is not completely unexpected to find that the world sets its time by Greenwich and not by Geneva. Whilst Geneva and Switzerland may be producing the vast majority of luxury wristwatches today, this certainly wasn’t always the case. In 1800 half of the world's watches, around 200,000 pieces a year, were produced on British shores by British watchmakers, which is an incredible statistic. Another wonderful statistic is that probably over 60-70% of the innovation in a modern day mechanical watch has come from Britain, including every major escapement design. Bremont's mission has always been to play a part in bringing back watchmaking to British shores.
