Bremont focuses purely on beautifully made mechanical movements and every watch in our core collection has passed each of the rigorous precision tests necessary for the ISO 3159 chronometer designation. Every movement is finished to the highest levels of craftsmanship and all are guaranteed to within -4 and +6 seconds per day. For this reason Bremont is one of the few watch makers to offer at least a 3-year warranty on every timepiece.

Great Britain has a wonderful history when it comes to watch making and has probably been the home to more advances in horology than any other nation. Bremont is determined to play a pivotal role in the reinvigoration of this industry on British shores and as a result, Bremont manufactures parts at its Parts Manufacturing Facility and every Bremont is hand-build and tested before leaving the Henley-on-Thames workshop.
Description
At a time of austerity, one American defied convention to build the largest aircraft in the world. Famously known as the ‘Spruce Goose’, the H-4 Hercules and Howard Hughes’ genius was defined by one minute. One minute of flight on 2nd November 1947. In that time Howard Hughes’ vision for the greatest aircraft ever built was vindicated. In a sublime fusion of micro-engineering, watch design and aviation history, the Bremont H-4 Hercules Limited Edition chronometer is limited to only 300 Stainless Steel pieces. It salutes this iconic flying boat of the 1940s and contains original birchwood from the fuselage of this iconic silver flying boat.

Gargantua of the Skies
Up until 2019 the H-4 Hercules was the largest aircraft in terms of wingspan ever to have flown and still the biggest flying boat.
The design
The design of the H-4 Hercules limited edition is reminiscent of the 40s style of the aircraft, every aspect of the timepiece harks back to Howard Hughes' masterpiece of aviation engineering.
A piece of history
Each Bremont H-4 Hercules Limited Edition rotor is constructed using original birch wood from the H-4 Hercules fuselage, which has been carefully incorporated into each propeller blade.

The Bremont H-4 Hercules Limited Edition features the iconic 43mm Trip-Tick case design in Stainless Steel.
Galvanic Finishing
The new slate grey coloured BWC/02 movement has GMT functionality, and the design has been inspired by the distinctive colour of the aircraft itself.
