The night is a special ops best ally, offering essential cover and security. Reliable kit can make all the difference when it comes to survival. Inspired by high-risk military night operations, Bremont presents the Supermarine S502 Jet, a robust and tactical timepiece in an anti-reflective, black DLC treatment. Available on a black rubber black leather stitched strap.

    Description

Since its launch in 2009, the Supermarine collection has gone from strength to strength. Its unique design and capabilities to withstand extreme conditions have not only been extensively tested out in the field by Bremont's ambassadors but also numerous elite military squadrons and top dive units around the world. In line with Bremont’s more technical Supermarine models, this new timepiece incorporates certain vital functions required for extreme diving, in particular the uni-directional rotating bezel, protective patented antishock movement mount and automatic helium escape valve. The robust 43mm dive watch with an impressive 500m water resistance houses a chronometer rated movement complete with a 42 hour power reserve, all housed within a ‘Jet’ black DLC finished Trip-Tick® case with screw in case back.

TESTED BY ALDO KANE, FORMER ROYAL MARINE COMMANDO

“The reliability of my kit is what keeps me alive, there is no quick escape when you’re diving in the pitch black under ice. I must trust everything that I wear and depend upon it for survival. My watch is often the only light I can see in an otherwise completely dark and very unforgiving environment.”

    British Made

    REINVIGORATING THE BRITISH WATCH INDUSTRY

It is not completely unexpected to find that the world sets its time by Greenwich and not by Geneva. Whilst Geneva and Switzerland may be producing the vast majority of luxury wristwatches today, this certainly wasn’t always the case. In 1800 half of the world's watches, around 200,000 pieces a year, were produced on British shores by British watchmakers, which is an incredible statistic. Another wonderful statistic is that probably over 60-70% of the innovation in a modern day mechanical watch has come from Britain, including every major escapement design. Bremont's mission has always been to play a part in bringing back watchmaking to British shores.
