the official timekeeper 2020 – 2022

Between 2020 – 2022 Bremont was the Official Timekeeper of England Rugby in a collaboration that celebrated the shared values of durability, precision and technical ability. Through the partnership Bremont produced a series of special edition mechanical chronometers for both fans and players.

the rfu strap

Prior to England’s rugby tour of Australia Bremont and Gilbert have collaborated on a limited edition rubber watch strap made from original England Rugby Ball material. The unique strap has been designed with Bremont’s RFU Collection in mind and complements both the Bremont Rose and the S300 RFU timepieces perfectly.

For a limited time only, the RFU strap is complimentary with the purchase of any timepiece from the England Rugby Collection.

RFU 150

Bremont commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) with the release of its Limited Edition RFU 150 watch. Limited to only 150 pieces, the new timepiece honours this veritable milestone in British sporting history. The anniversary timepiece encompasses all the qualities on which the partnership was founded, namely the shared values of durability, precision, and technical ability. The Bremont RFU 150 features a chronograph movement with 24h GMT hand as well as the Bremont patented protective anti-shock movement mount.

The Bremont Rose is the first watch in Bremont’s range to aptly state ‘England’ on the dial as opposed to ‘London’ at 6 o’clock. The brushed steel chronograph features two sub-dials subtly embossed with the symbolic England Rose, combined with blued steel hands and a beautifully contrasting red chronograph second hand, a nod to the St George’s Cross. Turning the watch over reveals the words ‘swing low’, in tribute to the Twickenham anthem, on the custom rotor underneath an engraving of the England Rose. The watch comes in a special leather wallet with blue and red stitch also featuring an embossing of the rose.

Great Britain has a wonderful history when it comes to watch making and has probably been the home to more advances in horology than any other nation. Bremont is determined to play a pivotal role in the reinvigoration of this industry on British shores and proudly manufactures parts and assembles its timepieces in Henley-on-Thames, UK.

England Rugby Player and Bremont Ambassador.

Bremont has teamed up with England Rugby star, Tom Curry, who became the youngest player to start an international for England in 90 years when he made his senior bow in Argentina on the 2017 summer tour. As a player who continuously puts his body on the line in every game Tom truly epitomises the term ‘Tested Beyond Endurance’.
